This project is aimed at developing an adaptive headlight system for automobiles that automates the movement of headlights without manual switching. We were a team of young enthusiasts looking to explore automotive control with Arduino.
We were set to make an hardware-in-loop simulation of a big world application which was the adaptive headlight sensor. This technology was already deployed on Mercedes Benz and we were excited to challenge ourselves to make a prototype on small level to gain insights into hardware control with Arduino.
Adaptive headlights: Features
Our main objectives were to make two features. Horizontal Swiveling or Yawing of headlight and Vertical Swiveling or Pitching of Headlight based of steering movement.
